“May you never want for wine, nor a friend to help drink it.”—French proverb
“Wine is bottled poetry.”—Robert Louis Stevenson
“Drinking wine is an experience of the senses, not of the intellect.”—Auberon Waugh
We focus on smaller-production wines from around the world, and take pleasure in presenting great finds from lesser known regions and off-the-beaten-path producers. Our motto is: Follow your passions, find your palate. Bring an open mind and sense of adventure, and you will thoroughly enjoy the Picada y Vino experience. If it is on our shelves, then we like it and stand by it!
Our store is arranged simply by color and region, without discriminating between price. We strive to always carry an interesting variety of high-quality wines under $20 that drink far beyond their price tag. You will find our whites and sparklers up front, reds to the rear, plus a table featuring a rotating selection of great-value wines at $14 and under. If you see a green dot on a price tag, then the wine is made following sustainable, non-interventionist, natural, organic or biodynamic practices.
All mixed and solid case purchases are discounted, and free local delivery is available. Delivery to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan can be arranged for a small surcharge, and shipping is now available throughout the United States - other than those states prohibited by law. Email info@picadayvino.com or call us at (718) 499-2392 for details, or to inquire about our gift buckets, hosting a private wine-tasting party, subscribing to one of our Wine Club offerings, or providing wine for your wedding or other special event.
